Umut Evirgen Umut Evirgen was born in 1990. He took M.A. in film and television at Istanbul Bilgi University. His first short film “Fine dying” was selected to 33rd Edmonton Film Festival (Oscar Qualifying) and received “Special Jury Award” at Malatya Film Festival. He wrote and directed his first feature film “I am the Sea” which premiered at Adana Golden Boll Film Festival and was awarded as Promising Young Actress Award. I am the Sea had its international premiere at 31st Film Festival Cottbus in Youth Film Competition. Light as Smoke is his 2nd feature.

Synopsis

Cagatay's business was closed, his lover went to Paris to take a break. Furthermore, Engin and Hakan settle into Cagatay's house. They explore online applications. Cagatay and Ecem flirt in one of these apps, after that Ecem comes home. Ecem is aware of her wants and needs. Engin begins to take an interest in Ecem. Cagatay and Engin were left to fend for themselves. After all Ecem left an impression on all of them.
