Cagil,completed his MA studies on Film Production at London Kingston University in 2012.Cagil worked as editing assistant for acclaimed Iranian director Bahman Ghobadi’s feature film “Rhino Season”.He has been working as a commercial director 2016-2020. His debut film “Geranium” was supported by German-Turkish Co-Development Fund, Medienboard Berlin-Brandenburg and Turkish Ministry of Culture. Geranium was selected for Cinephilia Bound Cannes, Meetings on the Bridge, First Cut Lab and also it was awarded as Best WIP Award at Connecting Cottbus.

Synopsis
Just before her final exams, 19 years old Defne, has to return to her hometown after her father’s stroke. His rehabilitation sessions will give the pair a chance to heal their fragile relationship.
