melih ozhan dincel he was born in 1989 in izmir. while studying physics education at balıkesir university, he joined the cinema amateurs association and worked in every field of cinema. in 2015, he received script development support from the general directorate of cinema with his feature film project “hüküm”, and with the same project, he was one of the ten finalists in the 29th international ankara film festival project development competition. his short film "zemheri" was screened on blutv for two years. "between us" is his first feature film.

pinar yener dincel she was born in Istanbul in 1992 and graduated from istanbul university, faculty of economics in 2016. that year, she was the producer of the short film project "tufan/noah", which won awards at the 16th izmir cinema burada and kisakes short film festivals. she attended the cannes film festival with her short film "zemheri". her film frogs won best short film at the 34th ankara film festival. in 2023, she completed her debut feature between us.

Synopsis

years later, former housemates cihan, yücel, and mevlüt reunite at cihan’s home, but the night is shaken by a robbery mevlüt recently experienced. although kamuran’s unexpected arrival lightens the mood, it’s the unspoken truths that catch her attention. the past, long ignored, begins to surface. unwilling to stay silent, kamuran starts asking questions. the night slowly turns into a confrontation woven with secrets.
