Hatice Aşkın Hatice Aşkın was born in 1991 in İzmir. Her first feature film, The House with No Address, a Turkish-Greek co-production, was supported by Eurimages, Europe’s most prestigious film fund. The film had its world premiere at the 28th Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival and was later screened to full houses at prestigious festivals across multiple continents. The House with No Address won the Best Art Direction award at the 44th Istanbul Film Festival. Aşkın is currently working on her second feature film.

Synopsis

Those who commit one of the nine major crimes of greed, arrogance, lust, anger, jealousy, sloth, extravagance, betrayal and violence are punished by the law of forgetfulness, and upon their death all their possessions are collected and their property is confiscated. Alper is a young and promising prosecutor in a country where anyone found guilty of a major crime is erased from society. But when his mother is convicted, Alper begins to question the rules he once fought to uphold.
