Aycil Yeltan After earning her degrees in Music and Theater at State Conservatories, she recorded with distinguished musicians and portrayed many significant roles as an actor at Dormen Theater. She earned her MFA at CalArts in acting with a scholarship and appeared in numerous stage, film and TV productions in İstanbul, New York and Los Angeles.Her 2. short film “Topanga” won total 6 awards in global film competitions and film festivals including 2 Audience Awards for Best Short Film. Her new film Fidan is going to be her debut in Feature Film.

Gorkem Yeltan As a director, Görkem Yeltan`s first film, "We Were Dining and I decided" is strongly supported by Turkish Ministry of Culture and was a nominee at the Montreal World Film Festival. Among the movies that she has played, Wrong Rosary and Eylül brought her the best actress awards. Görkem Yeltan taken a part in the scenario team of the film Wrong Rosary and her secret talent earned her "best screen writer award" in Istanbul Film Festival among her team for the scenario of the best film award winner "Wrong Rosary" in Rotterdam Film Festival.

Synopsis

13-year-old Fidan gets accepted to a renowned high school away from home. Her mother, who is suffering from a relentless illness, dies before she finds out this good news. It is not easy for Fidan to leave her little brother and father, who disappeared in the shadow of sad events. Driven to a crossroads, Fidan cannot tell anyone the truth about her success in being accepted to this important school, including her aunt who spreads her wings around her. Fidan’s decision at this crossroads will determine her future.
