Born in Istanbul in 1990, he completed his primary and secondary education in Istanbul before being accepted into the Dramatic Writing Department of Dokuz Eylül University's Faculty of Fine Arts in 2012. Throughout his education and career, the short films he directed were screened at numerous national and international festivals and received several awards. His debut feature-length fiction film, Unfruitful Times, won a total of eight awards at the 31st International Adana Golden Boll Film Festival and the 35th Ankara Film Festival.

Burak Kaplan was born in Izmir, Turkey. He completed his bachelor's degree in Istanbul Bilgi University Faculty of Business in 2008. After his graduation, he completed his master's degree in Film & Television department in 2012 and his doctorate degree in 2018. He has written film reviews, critics and made interviews for local publications. He started working as a full-time lecturer in Istanbul Okan University Faculty of Arts, Design and Architecture in 2012. Today, besides his academic studies, he is working on his film projects as a producer.

Synopsis
After a tragic miscarriage, Nimet -a middle aged woman- gets stuck in the conservative society in Istanbul while her beloved younger sister Öznur carries a burden of her own in the family, trying to struggle her own demons.
